Privacy policy
This policy describes how MSDP processes personal data in connection with the www.msdp.eu website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Summary
This site sets no cookies, uses no advertising trackers and embeds no third-party analytics. Typefaces are hosted on the site’s own server: no request is made to an external service when you visit.
No data is collected automatically for profiling purposes. The only personal data processed is what you send voluntarily by email.
This policy covers the www.msdp.eu website. The FlyMate software is covered by a separate privacy policy, published at www.msdp.eu/en/flymate/privacy/.
Data controller
The data controller is MSDP, whose full details appear in the legal notice. For any question about your data, write to denis@msdp.eu.
Data processed and purposes
Contact details you send voluntarily (name, email address, telephone number, message content): processed solely to answer your request and, where applicable, to perform an engagement. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or legitimate interest in responding to a professional enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Technical server logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent): retained for security and correct operation, under the responsibility of the hosting provider. Legal basis: legitimate interest in securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Recipients
Your data is neither sold, rented nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be processed by the technical processors strictly necessary to operate the website and professional email, bound by contract and by confidentiality obligations.
No transfer of data outside the European Economic Area is made at MSDP’s initiative. Should a processor make one, it would be covered by the appropriate safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR.
Retention
Correspondence without follow-up: twelve months from the last exchange. Correspondence leading to a contractual relationship: for the duration of the relationship, then for the applicable Belgian limitation and accounting retention periods. Technical logs: per the hosting provider’s policy, generally under twelve months.
Optional nature of the data and absence of automated decision-making
Providing your data is optional: nothing obliges you to write to MSDP. It is however necessary for a reply to be sent to you; without it, your request cannot be acted upon.
No decision producing legal effects concerning you is taken solely on the basis of automated processing, and no profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR is carried out.
Given the nature and volume of the processing carried out, MSDP is not required to appoint a data protection officer (Art. 37 GDPR) and has not appointed one. Requests are handled directly by the data controller.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability set out in Articles 15 to 22 GDPR. These rights are exercised by email to denis@msdp.eu; you receive a reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies, including no functional or analytics cookies. No consent banner is therefore required. Should this change, this policy would be updated and a compliant consent mechanism put in place beforehand.
Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect data against destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access.
Changes
This policy may be amended to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulation. The date of the last update appears below.
